Bucks County Community College’s Bucks Bake Shop will hold its Spring Semester bake sale on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The event will take place in Gateway, near the entrance to the library. It offers students, faculty, and staff of the college the chance to enjoy delicious
baked goods while supporting a great cause.
Students from the Baking & Pastry Arts and Culinary Arts programs prepare and sell a variety of freshly made desserts and pastries, including muffins, cookies, bar cookies,
scones, and croissants. To accommodate dietary needs, at least one gluten-free and one vegan option will be available. Beverages will also be sold.
Each dessert or pastry is priced at $1.50, and beverages are $1.00. All proceeds support a scholarship fund for students enrolled in the Baking & Pastry Arts and
Culinary Arts degree and certificate programs.
The Bucks Bake Shop, operating since Spring 2012, is a pop-up business run by students in the CULN130 Baking and Decorating course. These students gain hands-on
experience making and selling baked goods while interacting with customers. This event allows them to apply their skills in a real-world setting while raising funds for their
future education.
The event has been a favorite among the college community, and organizers hope to attract even more attendees this semester. Whether stopping by for a quick breakfast or
grabbing a mid-morning snack, guests can expect high-quality, handcrafted pastries made from scratch.
Don’t miss the opportunity to support the next generation of bakers and pastry chefs while enjoying fresh, homemade treats.
